How long is my English test valid?
From 1 September 2007, the department will accept the results of English language tests undertaken in the 24 months before the date the visa application was lodged.

Re: English Test
Hi Gary
A score of 7 is definitely doable but go through the practice materials so you are comfortable with the format.
I got 9 on thrre modules and 8.5 on one, giving me an overall score of 9. Hubby got 9 on one module and 8 on three, getting an overall score of 8. He didn't go through the practice materials like I had advised him to and got lost on the hearing one cause they don't repeat.
English is not our first language.

Hi Dade,

Re: English Test
Hi,
From my reading of the government website, your IELTS score is accepted up to 2nd September 2008 (ie. for 2 years). So you should be fine.
Kind Regards,
Gary
