Engineers Australia (recent exp DIAC)

hi, i was baout to apply for IEAust assessment by CDR procedure, they say 16weeks is estimated time of reply, which is October 1st wk/2nd wk

now, my 24 mnth period before the DIAC application during which i shud have worked 12 mnths (recent exp requirement) for 176 ends somewhere around the same time, ie., i last had an engineering job in mid-oct 2009...

i have been working free lance, on and off, but ther is no paperwork that could be recognized internationally, as opposed to the 18 mnth work ceryificate i got from the MNC that lais me off in 16 oct 2009?!

please advise, thanks in advance..

Re: Engineers Australia (recent exp DIAC)

hi Roger, thx for replying..yessir, i got the test results last weekend (18th)...qualify to apply since the minimum reqd for IEAust is 6.0 banded score i believe, :blink:you see thats the thing, i took the IELTS a wee bit late, i deally i should have taken it 15 days earlier than 5th June....

Due to the IE Aust 16 wk timeline, they will reply right around the time that i have the 176 application deadline (ie. if i dont get a job till Oct 15th) also i had a couple of gaps in my continuing development, but hv overall some kind of career graph that i hope they will deem positive:fingerscrossed:

of course all this will get solved if they assess my app +ve before 16 weeks are up in mid-october, then i can apply to DIAC and i dont need to be conscious of whether i get a regular job before Oct 16, which is when i lost it last year...

thx much:lightbulb:
