any idea how much time they take for this ?

All applications, whether to DIAC or assessment bodies, are individual. No-one can tell you exactly how long one will take.

Their normal processing time for non-recognized qualification is 16 weeks. The trend of recent assessment outcomes as posted by people on this forum shows that they consistently comply to this 16 weeks processing time.

Guys is it just me or every one....previously it was written on this page date that turnaround time for assessment is 16 weeks and now they have changed it to 12 weeks...

They have stated

Generally, for:

Non-accredited qualifications – turnaround is currently about 12 weeks from the date of receipt. Note this time can be highly variable depending on numbers of incoming applications
Accredited Australian and Accord qualifications – currently about 3-4 weeks.

It was 16 previously for sure, but now it's 12 weeks, good news for all applicants.:thumbup:
Thanks for sharing this observation.

Their assessment times change frequently. It was 12 weeks when I started to prepare my CDR, then it changed to 16 weeks when I submitted my paperwork and it took exactly 16 weeks for me. It looks like they've changed it back to 12, just keep checking.

You can also send an email to [email protected] with the word "Status" as the subject. You will receive an automatic response with the CDR dates they are currently processing.

Hi guys;
Has anyone over here opted for the "Relevant Skilled employment" option and paid AU$150 extra to assess their work experience.Is it worth it ? I mean does this assessment mean anything to DIAC or will DIAC do its own investigation/processing ? Does it save time during the actual processing with DIAC ?
