Anyone have any experience of employment agencies in Adelaide?

I recently immigrated from London, UK, where I was an IT Manager (small 200-300 user base,
multi site, NT4.0 Server/Exchange solutions etc).

I know that Adelaide doesn't have the IT requirements of let's say Melbourne, but any
advice on companies to apply direct too? (Too avoid our agency friends)?

And roughly what is the going salary for such careers in Adelaide (full time) - IT
Manager, Network Admin/LAN Admin etc?

Many thanks.

Agencies are probably all you can manage, unless you sit down with the paper and read the
business columns.

It's not a "small" site in Adelaide terms :) Try insurance companies, they might have
that userbase.

See www.it.hays.com.au Salary check, it's the only salary listing I know of, and
seems reliable.

Agencies dont charge you.

depends on the number of years of exp.

But I guess you'd be looking at 80-100 plus in Aus
