Employing People from Overseas
5 years ago I started a small company specialised in Software Telephony Solutions
I just made a deal with a bigger overseas company to open a branch for them in Australia I am struggling with the business as I lack of qualified staff in that area, I want to know If I can bring one or 2 of the qualified people of the mother company to work here in Australia? Do I have to fulfill conditions to be able to sponsor these guys? if so what are these conditions ? Thanks |
Re: Employing People from Overseas
There are visas available that let a company nominate employees.
The relevant conditions are fairly complex and have recently changed significantly and depend in their particulars on the class of visa for which a company proposes to nominate employees. |

Re: Employing People from Overseas
The homeaffairs.gov.au website is the official website. My advice (very strongly) would be to appoint an agent as it is not a simple process and the business will have a number of hoops to jump through. |
