Default Employer Reference

Hi!.

I'm an Accountant planning to have my qualifications assessed. However, my two last
employers disappeared from my country and it would be almost impossible to get a
reference from them.

Does anybody know if I could give other evidence of having worked for them? (pay
slips, statutory letter, and so on)

Thanks,

Marcelo

Default Re: Employer Reference

Normally your skill assessment as an Accountant is based on your qualifications, not
work experience.

You would need evidence of work experience to meet DIMA requirements after
application to them, however. Payslips, assessments, contracts of employment,
references from colleagues (particularly those with professional standing) and
failing that, statutory declarations may all be needed as evidence.
