Default The Emigration Group - Good or bad experiences we'd like to hear them all...

Hi Everyone

This is our first post so go easy on us! ;-)

My partner and I are just about to start the whole process for our move to OZ. We have had a meeting with The Emmigration Group and are considering using their services to complete the application process.

They want a fair chunk of money though so we would welcome feedback, good or bad, from anyone that has used them.

As we will be travelling for some of the time the application is processed we feel using an agent to keep on top of the application would be best. If anyone has used any other companies and can give recommendations then that would also be appreciated so we can compare prices!

Thanks for your help, im sure we will have a lot more questions as we go through this process.....

Adam

Hi Adam

We initially started with a company with a similar name "****************" but have changed their name twice now and we are getting really fed up with them though initially they were okay. They are now called CWvisa (commonwealth visa) if anybody else has used these we would like your feed back also. We went to a seminar last weekend for a different company called thinkingaustralia.com they were really good and not too expensive either take a look at there webpage, really helpful people.

All the very best for your trip and hope you finally make your move to OZ like we are hoping.

Hi. Just wanted to add that we didn't use an agent, this site is fantastic and we got all the help we needed to complete our application from start to end. So firstly have a good read first to see if you application is simple enough to do yourselves before parting with any cash. Good Luck!

I agree. If there are not any special circumstances in your case, I would definetely say give it a go yourself. If you are travelling, as long as you've got access to internet, you can still progress an on-line application.
I did it & I'm pretty thick

Agree with the others - do it yourself if you feel you can. Unless your occupation is on CSL you'll have plenty of time to travel . 2012 till nonCSLer's will even get looked at

Adam,

Have you made enquiries of any other migration advisors in the UK?

Best regards.

Hi Adam,

You'd probably find that there are a range of options from agents if you wanted to get some quotes, suggest you try Alan Collett and myself to see what options there are before committing.

Cheers,

Hi, Yes we used The Emigration Group, they were brilliant from start to finish, they were always on the end of the phone to answer our queries and made the whole process alot easier, yes it is cheaper to do it yourself, but if you haven't got the time and want to know youv'e done everything right then I would use an agent,
