Electrician looking to immigrate - migration agent recommendations

Hi,

Myself and my fiance are looking to immigrate in the near future once covid restrictions are lifted. My partner is an electrician so we are looking to apply for a Skilled Independent visa under his name. We are looking for recommendations of good Migration Agents who specialise in Tradees, or who helped a Tradee immigrate and was knowledgable on the process for trades.
We have lots of questions about the visa as well as the transfer of qualifications that is needed once you arrive etc etc so would like someone who can help us with understanding all of this

Also any stories of Electricians who have immigrated more recently would be gratefully received! How long did you have to wait to receive an invitation to apply? How many years experience did you have? How long was the application process? What was the process of transferring your qualifications once you arrived? What was the Skills Assessment process like? We are also not sure whether you now need to take English tests as part of the process to prove proficient or superior english, and whether this would be required by both of us? We also know previously medicals would need to be actioned as part of the process but I'm not sure if this is still part of the process?

Any information or advice is very appreciated!

Thanks in advance.
Amber and Jack

Yes yo will have to do medicals, your fiance may need to do an English test in order to get enough points.Mos agents will give an idea of the process and your chances for free, and I would say that with your level of knowledge you should definitely talk to one. My personal recommendation is George Lombard, who often posts on here.

In Australia, George Lombard (austimmigration.com.au), in the UK Graham Igglesden (conceptaustralia.co.uk). Both highly regarded Registered Migration Agents who have been in the industry a long time. There are others, but start with these two for reliable advice. You will find everything you need to know about them on their websites, as you should with any reputable RMA.
