e457 application, attachments, medicals and PCC!

Hi I lodged my application last night and then tried to attach all the documents but as I had been away for more than 10 minutes it wouldnt let me. I have tried numerous ways to get back inot my application but I can't. It says my TRN is wrong??

Any advice?

Also a link came up after I paid regarding xrays and medicals there were only a handful on the list. The Drs we were going to use in Huddersfield is much cheaper but wasnt on that list, do we have to use the drs on the e457 list or can we use any panal drs?

Is it true that we won't need to have PCC done for this visa?

Thanks in advance

Cant say much about your problem logging into your application online. Sorry.

But I have finished all my visa application and as far as I was aware you have to use an Australia approved doctors which are on the list on their website. They then send all the meds and xrays to the office where you lodged your application.

You do have to get police checks done. Download the form from your county's police website and take it with £10 to local station and they will do the rest. I received mine on tuesday and scanned and uploaded them last night.

There is a form you can download from the immigration site that tells you how to fill in the application and what you need to send. This is the link
http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/booklets/books5.htm
It will have all the info that you need in there.

If you need any more advice the PM me.

Cheers
Warren

Re: e457 application, attachments, medicals and PCC!

My e457 was lodged on 28 Apr 2008. Fees taken on the same day and on 30 Apr it stated "Application being processed further. It's been more than 3 weeks without any changes to the status, really can't wait it's so torturing.

Our medicals arrived in LCU 3 weeks before visa was lodged so it reached LCU without TRN number on it, could this be a problem? I was advised to do so by my sponsor who also lodged the application for me.

Please help!!!:(

I had an agent do my 457 and it came through in a record 10days so there is hope. I was advised to use the short list of doctors (although so much more expensive) and the visa was approved the day after I had the medical done

I didnt have to get a police clearance, I just did a declaration that I didnt do anything naughty..

Good luck all!

You can use any panel doctor, but the others will transmit the results by paper which will slow things down a little bit.
You should be able to attach documents via this link:
