does anybody know???
Here’s the question…can anyone answer please…
We have passed the TRA,main forms in,have a CO so all ok there…But,my wife is a mobile hairdresser full time and under advise from her accountant she setup her business as a “Sole Trader” as she has a “Part Time job” as well but is in paid employment with that job….
Our CO has asked for tax forms from the inland revenue for last 3 years prior to applying for 136 visa…these we can get from them but on the returns it say’s “sole Trader” but on the “Self” assessment form’s it has Mobile hairdressing, but this for the tax office keep, and we only have a copy of this years one…
So in short…. Self” assessment form’s say Hairdressing but comes back as “Sole” trader in the tax bill…will this be enough for the CO to grant the visa…
Thanks in advance

Re: does anybody know???
sole trader is just the type of ownership of the business, not a partnership or company. She is the sole owner of the business, whatever type, and is solely liable for debts etc.
Most small businesses are operated under a sole trader arrangement, it's got nothing to do with the occupation she's working in
