DIMIA Adelaide have confirmed that their numbers for the program year (ends 30/6/2004) have just about been met and they have slowed down their processing this month to make sure they do not go over their target

Does that means I’ll get my ‘Yellow Envelope’ in July now??

Hello sid,

Bad news. Seems that this could be the reason VISAs are not being issued at the moment.

Now you have to check, when actually DIMIA meets its target. Does it depends on the no of visa issued or medical requests sent? If you check austimeline, DIMIA were quiet fast in issuing medicals. Though normally it takes around 10 months before one expect for such requests , many of us have got the request in just 6 months or so. But as far as visa is concerned none of us have got the visa.

The time that they mention on medical request is 2 months. And it is the maximum. They cannot just hold the applications bcoz their target is met.

Alan / JAJ / George please advise.

Regards
