Default Degree needed for ACS after December?

I don't have a degree but I have several IT industry qualifications. I've read that after 23rd December the skills assessment process is changing. Do I need to apply to the ACS before 23rd December, or will my qualifications be good enough after that date? I would apply as an IT or Systems Manager, I have over 10 years experience and my qualifications are:

MCSE Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
CCNP Cisco Certified Network Professional
CCNA Cisco Certified Network Associate
CCDA Cisco Certified Design Associate
CCA Citrix Certified Administrator
CompTIA A+ PC Service Technician
PRINCE2 Project Management Certified Practitioner
ITIL IT Service Manager Foundation Certificate
Diploma in Management
Higher National Certificate in Management
Higher National Certificate in Business Administration
SQA Communication Level 4

Apologies if this information is available elsewhere, I've found it difficult to find details on this and obviously time is pressing.
Thanks very much for your help,
Neil Anderson

Your 10 years experience should be enough, you must prove 6 years of exp in
your specialised area. Also having worked 3 of the last 4 years in this field.
Only the MCSE cert is recognised by ACS at the moment but as i have read on another thread this will be removed soon.

Gracias amigo. Do you know if they accept CCIE? I'll be taking it next year and if that qualifies it would give me alot of breathing space. I'm five points short of the required skilled migration total and migration agents have told me I can gain these by investing $100,000 AUD, unfortunately I don't have that kind of money lying around and would need some time to find it.

I don't know why the ACS have to be completely secretive about the assessment process, if they published guidelines it would make planning alot easier.

From what I understand ACS will not be allowing trade qualifications (i.e MSCE) under Group B from 23rd Dec. With 10 years experience you will still be able to apply using the RPL process but this will take a lot more work on your behalf in preparing the application.

The ACS assessment is valid for a year so you could apply in the next couple of weeks under group B with your MSCE and (assuming you receive a positive assessment) apply for the visa any time next year. Investing in the $100k bond is also the last stage of the process just prior to visa grant so you would not need it immediately.

The problem with delaying anything in the emigration application process is you could find the rules change further and prevent you from applying at all.

Thanks spottydog, that's a really good reply. I'll get on the case about sorting out the paperwork for the ACS asap.
I'm trying not to get too depressed about the 5 points situation, when the agents told me I was short I thought I'd have more options than trying to find $100k. My finances are fine and I've got a little safety-net without having any real savings, but committing to a £40k loan is going to blow that out of the water (and I haven't even thought about where I'm going to get it yet.)
Thanks very much for the help with this, VERY much appreciated.
