Hi

I was wondering if anyone could help....

I'm trying to get all the documents together for my skill assessment and the
assessing authority - AIMS require Course transcripts - but I'm unsure what these
are? I'm under the impression that I need to provide details on the course/subjects
studied, hours of course and exam results for my degree. Has anyone else had to
obtain this detail?

As I did my degree 8 years ago I’m unsure how easy it will be to obtain this
info - has anyone had experience of trying to get official info from their
university?

I contacted the Registrars Department of my Uni who only needed the details of the course, year, and my details (along with a small payment!) and they sent me a transcript of the course. It details the subjects studied in each year of the course and whether I passed each one.

Yes - from 2 different universities. I was amazed. My quals were nearly 20 years ago!
I just emailed both unis (UK - Bath and Sussex). Both were very helpful.

Did my degree 8 years ago - had no probs getting transcript from Uni of Wales Cardiff, just went to registry dept. Did my PGCE 6 years ago at the same uni - had loads of probs getting the transcript - had to go to the Post Grad department - took nearly 4 months until I got something in the post, which looks like it was just thrown together just to get rid of my pestering.

Thank-you for all your help - I contacted Birmingham university today and its on its
way, it did cost £15 though but at least I get 5 copies for that.
