Talking defacto visa times

Anyone done a recent defacto application? How long did it take?
Sent mine yesterday (front-end loaded) to London office.

Shouldn't think it'll take too long, have you looked on www.austimeline.com to see if anyone else has lodged recently!

We got ours processed in 1 day on 1 Nov!!!

Good Luck all the same!

Hi ya

We front loaded ours on the 17th November to London. Still nothing :-( We were hoping to have ours in plenty of time for Christmas so that we could book our flights. It's horrible knowing that some people have received there's in a couple of days and lots within a couple of weeks, I hope that's not a bad omen for us??!!
Keep us posted about yours

Mine took 3 weeks, but onshore, in Brisbane. Sorry, don't know about the London timelines.

Good luck!

Just in the process of getting mine together but looking on austimeline seems to be pretty quick

Mine took 7 weeks. I had a delay with medicals, waiting on a cardiologist report & was requested for some more info. Between 2-4 weeks seems to be a good average if its straight forward.

Hi Pozzies,

The average processing times for London are between 2 and 12 weeks, it depends a little on whether you're in a recent or long-term relationship (ie whether you're going direct to a subclass 100 visa or going the two year temporary route, the subclass 309 visa) - see www.austimmigration.com.au/pages/guide_mang.xls .

Cheers,

George Lombard
