I don't know, but technically you have 28 days to leave after telling them the visa isn't valid any longer (ie that the relationship has ended). They may not even contact you - I know people who have advised DIAC of circumstances like yours and they didn't recieve a reply, but they were out of the country by then. You may find nothing happens until they catch up with you - when you try and use Medicare maybe, or something else linked to residency status. If you overstay for too long you also will have a huge problem getting another visa, especially onshore.
