Decison Made "POOL the application"
Daer Expats
Today i got response from my CO as of my email query of update on my application.
The response by email:
"my decision being to 'Pool' the application"
what does it means by "POOL",
Refusal or held on the application due to short of points

Re: Decison Made "POOL the application"
Hmm...passing mark for Independent Skilled Migration subclass 136 is 120 points. Does this mean you're short of 5 points?
From my understanding, pool means you obtained the marks above the pool mark which is 70 which I believe for Skilled Independent. Your application will be put on hold for 2 years and within the time frame, if they change the rules or lower down the passing mark, your file will be open again.
Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not too sure about it.

Van

Why don't you write IELTS again and get 6 or above in all components, meaning that in Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking.
If you get 6 and above in all it will get you 20 points for IELTS.
Hope this helps

Hmmmm, seems ur points are ok from up here as u only need 115 to pass. Dunno really what happened to your case. I hope DIMIA has a better-be-good reason for your apps being pooled.
Good luck,pal.
