Hi Everyone,

My Fiance and I are about to lodge a Prospective Partner Visa
Application. My fiance is Vietnamese so we will be lodging from the
DIMA Office at the Australian Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

I have read in these newsgroups that some applications post sept 11
where taking 18 months to process, but then on the Australian Embasy
website for Vietnam it says that they plan on having complete
applications processed within 6 months.

Does anyone know the average time partner visa applications are taking
out of the Ho Chi Minh Office currently? Should we expect somewhere
between 6 and 18 months?
