current processing time for ENS on-shore?
Hiya,
Our nomination has just been approved so we will be submitting our application in next week or so once we have got our docs certified. PCC checks will be included and medical will be done in 3 weeks time.
So, just wondering if anyone here knows the current processing time for on-shore ENS applications lodged in Melbourne?

Are you not using an agent? (agent would normally know).

No, we are not using an agent, so hence no-one to ask about timescales!
Our application appears straightforward and we have had help from employer who has done this many times before. So, fingers crossed

Hi AndySarah,
Congrats on your ENS onshore app being successful. I am currently following in your footsteps and doing the application on my own, as I have been in my current role more than 2 years and so it should be pretty straightforward. Affording an agent is The Nomination has already been approved so now it's just time to get my visa app in!
A couple of questions for you (or anyone else reading this who has successfully done the application on their own).
I have 3 work references prior to my current employment -- these cover my jobs from the time I completed uni. I do have some earlier jobs on my CV, but they're so far back it's hard to find people. How far back did you go with your work refs? Did you get one for each item on your CV?
How much did you actually write on a covering letter/checklist page? I'm trying to keep it simple and just connect the dots as to how each item I've provided satisfies a requirement.
I think I've got everything in line, the whole process just makes me a bit nervous, so it's good to hear about others' experiences!
Thanks!
