Hello, I have applied for a job in Perth Australia. I will be working as a telecoms engineer on the railway and just need some advise on what kind of wage i would need to live a good life in perth with my wife and 2 boys 8 & 15.
I don'nt mean out every night drinking or partying just a good standard of life for my family. Any help would be great thanks. Craig from Wigan.

Is the employer offering to sponsor you for a visa?you need to make sure you can get a visa before looking at anything else

I expect you need to do some research into salaries for your occupation in the area, rather than just decide what figure you would like to have to live on? You could try searching for similar jobs on seek.com.au or google for salary surveys perhaps.
