Hello everyone! Im new to this so excuse me if these questions have been
answered - I had a quick peek through and couldn't find an answer
exactly..so here goes.
- I am an Aussie, husband is Canadian
- Canada Immigration is a nightmare (waiting times sooo long) so we are
wondering about costs/wait times in Australia before I send in my
application there.
- I have looked through Dima website and also phoned some not so
helpful guy in Ottawa at the Aust Consulate. Anyway, I know that
medicals in Aust are approx $300, police checks $36 but I am not sure
of the following

1. How much does it cost for Spouse Visa for Australia TOTAL if we
apply from Canada?

2. How much will it cost if we apply IN Australia?

3. If we were to apply in Australia, my husband would need a Visa
first. What type of Visa would this be? How much would this visa cost?


4. My husband was in Australia alot over the last 5 years, he never
overstayed his visitor visa, but had to jump thru alot of hurdles to
get his final three months granted. Will this affect him getting a
visitor visa now? (Last In Australia April 2005)

5. What are the processing times for the Spouse Visa? Any difference
between In Australia/Outside Australia applications?
