Can any one give me an estimate of the furniture & home appli in
aussie for a small family of 2.
May include 1-TV, 1-wardrobe, 1-bed,Kitchen appliances, sofa,fan etc.

Well, son, it depends on your standards... Anyway whatever you decide to purchase, buy NEW, or if you insist buying secondhands be very carefull, or look rather for factory seconds. From my experience I can tell that most second hand items are too expensive for their quality (in Sydney).
New stuff (AUD):
tv (51cm) - from 300
fridge (medium) - from 700
wardrobe - most units have built-ins, new - expensive
bed (double/queen) - from 400/450
appliances - resonable
sofa - expensive
fan - buy a few appliances and ask for one free.
From what I,ve seen in Sydney most stores are willing to negociate especially when you buy more than one thing. I have a friend here who is very carefull with his expences and he helped me save some good money. I cannot name any store because I don't want my IP reported

If you have plans you should know that kids' stuff is very expensive
