Cost of medicals and police checks in UK?

Just booked our medicals in York and the charges are as follows
Medical = 90 each
Blood Test = 18 each
Xray (YDH) = 61 each
or at Puricust = 71 each
We obviously decided to go to the York District for the Xrays and no need to book just turn up M-F 09:00 - 12:00 or 14:00 -16:00
Its a good job we got a decent price for the house else all this would be bankrupting!!!!!!!
But it will be worth it. Wonder how long the police checks will take applied today!
