Contributory Parent Visa Subclass 143
My parents applied for their visa April 2009, does anyone know roughly how quickly people are being assigned a case officer and then how long people are in a queue for?

I would of thought the volume of people applying for this visa would of dropped dramatically over the past 12mths with the global crisis and the weak GBP.
I've lost track of this visa a fair bit since my parents moved over on it about 5yrs ago, but back then it was about a 6mth wait, I know that pushed out considerably but would of expected them to at least have a CO assigned now thats its been almost a year.
