Computing Professional on 457
Hi everyone,
Just a quick question - ACS requires you to have 5+ years experience for a positive assessment, however could I go over on a 457 with a years experience providing I can find a sponsor?
Cheers

Hello,
For a 457 visa you wouldn't normally need to do a skills assessment, unless the department of immigration was unconvinced you had the proper skills.
Assuming you find a sponsor, you would need to ensure the visa application and nomination were carefully prepared to answer in advance the kinds of issues DIAC is likely to consider.
