I am the rather jealous friend of a english guy visiting Australia. He has been out there for about 16 months, and now has the opertunity to visit Thailand, with a mutual friend who is travelling there from the UK. His return flight ticket to UK has now expired, but he thinks he will be able to extend his visa, while visiting Thailand? Will he need to buy his return ticket to the UK before he travels to Thailand?
I don't know whether he is visiting on a work visa or just holiday - does it make a difference?
Also - would it be cheaper for him to buy his UK, and his Thai, flight from within Australia - or for me to do it from UK?
We are trying to sort all this out by Email correspondents!!
so any help would be much appreciated!!!!!!!!!
