Coincidence?

Folks,
Well it may just be coincidence but frankly I don't believe in it..
Here is our track record:
12/12/00 - Application sent via Dubai Oz Embassy
28/12/00 - Visa case opened in Athens Embassy
07/01/01 - Letter with Case number arrived
01/05/01 - Fax to embassy asking how we add a newborn and also if the IT fast track applied to us since we were both assessed by Australian Computer Society and passed with skills in demand (hah!)
08/05/01 - Fax back from Athens informing us that we needed to send birth certificates etc and also a confirmation letter from current employers
12/05/01 - Daughter Born
24/05/01 - Certificates and confirmation letters sent via DHL
05/06/01 - Medical forms received from Athens
12/06/01 - Medicals completed and sent back
So my point....since we asked about the IT fast track we have been processed in just over 1 month.
Or would we have been done then anyway...who knows
Hopefully we'll have the visas in July but due to the job market I think we'll stay put until things pick up. Too many large firms have hiring freezes and salaries are crap today.
For all those IT people...don't just wait send a fax asking about the IT fasttrack and see if you also get immediate results!

Yep that's for a permanent residency visa under the independent skilled migration stream.

Hey Mike,
Which fax number have you called? I'm in the US, and want to follow the standards to
go further, but, whether you have this number it could be good.
