Default CO requested Medical for Child living with separated partner. Pls help.

Please guys, I have a situation here:

My CO has contacted me regarding my 3 years old child's medical who is not with me and is with her mother right now in a different country.

Even though I sent a Stat Declaration earlier stating that the child is not with me, the CO wants the medical for the non-migrating child.

My wife did not allow child's medical and also not writing any written statement stating her unwillingness. Very uncooperative.

So is there anything I can do to convince my CO which will waive off the child's medical?

I'm in the very last stage of my application.

Thank you!

Have you read the Wiki entry on this
especially the section about the Waiver?

Yeah but I live in a different country and I'm unable to see my chid.

Shall I authorize my lawyer to go and speak to child's mother regarding medicals and after they refuse my lawyer, shall I ask my lawyer to prepare a letter saying that they refused to allow medicals and then get that letter stamped and give it to my CO?

Will this work?

Any suggestions on this? Anyone please.
