Citizenship status of new born baby while parents have TR 475 visa
 
Hi,

I have a query.What if parents are in Australia on TR 475 visa,and they have new born baby there.Will the baby automatically be Australian citizen?

The baby will get the same visa as his parents, provided he is born in Australia.
If one is on PR, then their child would get citizenship, if born in Australia.
Atleast, thats what I know. Lets see if someone else knows more.

Need little clarification on your below mentioned statement.

The baby will get the same visa as his parents, provided he is born in Australia.


If baby is born in Australia,while his/her parents are on TR 475 visa.Will that baby be Australian citizen?

Umm .. No ... the baby will be on the TR 475 visa too.

Another cascaded query:
What if parents apply for PR after

spending two years on TR 475 and at time of PR

application, wife is pregnent.In this case whether DAIC will provide the PR to parents and then new born baby will be citizen?

if the child is born in oz and at least one parent is PR or citizen, baby is automatically citizen by birth.
