Citizenship - residence calculator vs immiaccount
 

So, I’m eligible to apply for citizenship but immiaccount is refusing to allow me to lodge my application.

I’m guessing that although the residence calculator shows me as being eligible to apply today (2nd April 2020), because the date of grant of my PR was 3rd April 2019, Immiaccount won’t let me apply until tomorrow.

Is that right?

Yes. I tried to apply on the day I qualified and it wouldn't let me, but it did the following day. Congratulations by the way!

Hi,

Can I ask how you were eligible?

I am trying to get to Australia also and start up a business there I only currently have an evisa but obviously want to gain Perm Residence.

Check on the official website to see if you're eligible to apply for a visa. https://www.australia.gov.au/informa...tion-and-visas All the info you need is there. Then you can start a thread in here asking any questions you may have.. It's considered bad manners to hijack someone else's thread. Especially one that has nothing to do with your query.
