Citizenship processing times
anyone know how long the citizenship applications take to process

How long is a piece of string? Every council takes their own amount of time depending on how good they are and how many people in that area have applied. I think they expect to go from application to ceremony inside 4 months but it's luck of the drawer on where you are.

Our application took 2 weeks to process and we have waited just under 6 months for the ceremony after receiving the application accepted letter (Sutherland Shire) but this is due to us just missing one ceremony cut off then having to wait another 3 1/2 months before the next one.
