Citizenship And Overseas Trips?
 
Hi,

For citizenship we have to complete 24 months inside Australia.On completion of 22 months inside Australia,we were just wondering can we make short visit overseas for about 14 days or so??

I understand that this short visit may extend our citizenship time by 14 days.Please comment and suggest?

You understand correctly.

And if it means you don't qualify before the residence period increases to 3 years (early to mid 2006), it may extend the time by about 365 days.
