Citizenship "Good Character" query
 

Hi All,

I have 2 questions regarding having to obtain an overseas penal clearance.

1) The time that i have held PR, is this the date that it was granted, or the date that i arrived in Oz to validate it.

2) The time spent in any one country is more than 90 days, i presume this means all up 90 days, if i've visited a country multiple times over the last 5 years for 2-3 week periods and if the cumulative time adds up to 90 days i must get a police clearance?

1. PR commenced on the day of validation.
2. I don't think you will need one.
