Citizenship Eligibility
I wondered if someone could help me. I have been living in Australia for 3.5 years and have had permanent residency (Independent Skilled Migrant) for the whole of this period.
I spent 9 months in Australia previously on a Working Holiday Visa in 1994. Would this count towards the 4 years I need before I can apply for Citizenship or do I just need to wait another 6 months until I've been here 4 years.
I've had a look on the Citizenship website but it's pretty confusing and I read some posts on this forum and still can't work it out.
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks :-)
