Citizenship - details of parents?

I'm just finalising my citizenship application online, and I'm a bit baffled for the request for details of my parents. I've provided all their personal details, and it also asked for their passport details for the last time they entered or departed Australia. I provided these details, too, as they visited us from December 2017 until February 2018.

However, I've just got to the "attach documents" page and they're listed in there as if they're applying with me. Is this normal??? When the section for me is expanded, it asks me to provide copies of my passport, driving licence, birth certificate and Form 1195. When the sections for my folks are expanded, they contain nothing.

I'd really appreciate if if someone could confirm that this is normal! Thanks in advance!

PS I'm also going to submit the Form 1195 in a few days time, once I've got someone to sign my photo etc. I'm still okay to submit the application now, aren't I? Thanks.

I think so. I thought it was odd that they wanted details of my parents too, but it might be something to do with them being able to apply for parent visas I suppose. Anyway, I supplied what they wanted and my application was approved.

And yes, you can upload documents later. We did with our UK police checks.

Great. I knew I hadn't clicked on anything to say they were part of the application, so it was pretty baffling when they reappeared in the document section!

I don't need a UK police check, thankfully, as I haven't spent enough time there in the last 4 years to need one. The Form 1195 has prompted much dashing about, but I'm off out to get passport photos soon, and a colleague who meets the criteria has very kindly agreed to sign the form and the back of the photo.

Thanks for the advice!
