citizenship by descent?

citizenship by descent?
advice would be nice,i have just started to fill in my citizenship by descent and now you have to have your docs certified, it says a teacher can do this so do we just have them photocopied and then the teacher signs them against the originals.... i wish my police check had come back a week earlier
