Congrats !!!

I have a question: Can I apply for Australian Police clearance even before I become eligible for citizenship, so that I have all the documents ready and can lodge my application the very first day I am eligible?

Re: Citizenship Application Approved...

Thanks. Actually you can apply for the International Police Clearance in advance if it is required for you via High Commission Office.
Yes. You can lodge your Citizenship Application on the very first day your eligible.

Good luck..

Re: Citizenship Application Approved...

Just remember. You do not want to apply for the Australian Police Clearance. It will be done at the time if your Citizendhip Interview. It will be processed through the Australian Crimtrac.

Thanks

DIBP apply for a federal police check as part of the citizenship process. You do not have to get the Aussie check done yourself

Hi Guys, can we request DIBP to take the oath ceremony at AHC abroad? I want to take the test in Australia, get the approval, then take the oath at AHC abroad. Do you guys think its possible? Any experience or suggestions?
