Hi,

Anyone know if a CCNA counts towards the MODL category for Cisco Certified
Professionals, or is it specifically for the higher certs of CCNP and CCDP ?

Check out www.immi.gov.au/allforms/modl.htm - they've taken cisco off the list! I
think it happened in May - just as my application for assessment was making it's way
to the ACS (how about that for bad timing!). I still got approval, but obviously not
for MODL. This shouldn't be a problem as it's still an IT application and should
still be on the fast track.

I asked exactly the same question to ACS back in April and they said it was more
about experience than qualifications, but the cert won't do you any harm.

Hopefully, I can still get a job out there, but this doesn't bode well.
