Default Childs Name in Wifes Passport

Hello,

My Child's name (1 year old) has been entered in my wife's passport with the initials only. For example Julian Nancy Smith is entered as J. N. Smith. When filing the visa application, should I go ahead with the complete name despite the fact that the passport contains only the initials?

Thank you.

You will need to enter your childs full name. Does your child not have his/her own passport?

Sounds as though they are not British, as chidren have had to have their own passports for a good number of years in the UK.

No - I think they may need to get one though for the visa application looking at the info on skill select

my child does not have her own passport. So if I enter her full name in the visa application will it cause problems since the passport (Childs name in wife's passport) has only initials?

They may query it, but presumably her full name is on her birth certificate? And regardless of whether it is an issue you must put her full name on the visa application.
