Hi Chris!

Don't worry. They won't return your application just because of the missing checklist.

Actually, I didn't even bother sending the checklist... but I wrote a cover letter listing what I sent based on the checklist...

Anyway, applications are only returned if it's incomplete. In this case, incomplete means missing major things like a "skill assesment" and Form 47 ;)

All the best in your application!

CHEERS.

I agree - I dont think they will return it..They will probably flick through it first just to make sure everything is there.

Did you fill it in before you forgot to post it?

If so, just forward it on with a cover letter and apology.

Re: checklist for my visa application

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I'm in a total panic at the moment and trying to
determine if I need to fly to adelaide tommorrow. I worked from 2 checklists
as I had and old copy of the booklet 6 which had a checklist on page 13-15.
I must have gotten confused while trying to determine which to send and
didn't send either! The documents are not folioed in the manner they request
although all information is there. I was in a total panic trying to sort out
a thousand document. I guess this is where I should have invested in an
agent!.I don't know what to do. Will they accept a corrected version or will
I need to resubmit. If I must resubmit, I must fly to Adelaide tommorrow as
I turn 45 on Sunday. If I send the information again, minus the 47sk do you
think they will accept it?
Regards Chris

Thanks again everyone!
This has got to be the most streeeeessssful thing I have ever done. You've
all made me feel so much better about my mistake. Maybe I won't have to fly
out after all. And if I'm lucky I'll stop hyper ventilating in a few
minutes!!! :)
Thanks so much
Chris

Dear GCars,

A valid application for a general skilled migration application consists of a skills assessment (and that's no longer necessary for onshore students as such), the form 47SK, a form 40 if applicable, state SIR nomination if applicable, and the visa application charge - as long as that's all there you've got a valid application. No problem with not having the checklist. Send it in later if you want. Further, it has never been possible to personally lodge a General Skilled Migration application to the Adelaide Skilled Processing Centre, better to spend any money in that respect on a reliable courier, and they'd need to be there tomorrow.

Yes, agents have their uses :-)

Cheers,

George Lombard
