Default Changing employers

Hi guys,

A quick question before I start work (for an awful employer).

I'm about to start looking for a new job and I am currently 6 months into a 2nd 457 visa. If I were to change employers, would the new employer have to pay the costs of another visa? Has anyone been through this before?

I have not signed any waivers myself to say that I would cover any costs with my current employer.

Thanks for the help,

It is illegal for an employer to take payments for sponsorship, nomination or related costs from a 457 visa applicant.

I'm just pointing out there is no clause from my other employer incase anyone asks.

What would the new employer pay in order to take on my visa?
