I think you needn't contact adelaide, as I know they're dealing with the cases which lodged in Apr 2002.

Hi all,
I also applied for a Skilled Australian Sponsored Visa in Aug 2002 and have now reached the stage when I am becoming obsessed in my search for news or updates on the processing time and procedure. I only found the www.austimeline.com website the other day and it together with this forum are great.
I tried to ring ASPC this morning and all the operators were busy (even at 1 minute past 9am!!)
Since I applied Booklet 6 has been updated and it appears to be more prescriptive on what evidence is required for recent work experience, does anyone know why, for instance, they want government employees to submit payslips (I usually discard mine and don't have any for the 12 months prior to my application). Would a P60 do? Should I worry........
Finally has anyone who applied in Aug 02 heard anything yet?

Re:Case Officer
Hi there,
Havent posted for a while, but I rang Adelaide the day after New Years Day to find out what was happening. We are September 2001, Skilled Independent. A nice man told me that we should hear something by the end of January/early Feb, as they were dealing with September soon. There seems to be conflicting information about months.
We are HOPING to hear something soon!
Hope this gives other people hope too.

My application was recieved in early August 2002.
I rang Adelaide about three times and couldn't get through.
But my girlfriend who is in Sydney rang on my behalf
and got through two days ago.
She said the guy told her that it hasn't been assessed yet
but is very close to it. Not sure if that means days, weeks
or months. But it's positive all the same.
Just thought I'd share the info. My details are on
www.austimeline.com under the username timo.
I will update immediately with any further news....

I applied in Nov 2001. In June 2002, I got the degree/transcript
request... and nothing since then.

Is it possible that your application went into the pool? Based on the
current points test, modl list etc, do you score 110?
