My agent has told me to wait until i have a file reference number before i have the medicals done so the doc can then put the number on and send them to Sydney

But i have heard that i can put the passport numbers on!!

I wanted to book in for my meds sooner rather than later...Any advice???

We did ours with the passport number, but got the ref number through before meds were sent.
in short yes you can just use passport num, although agents/immi dont recommend it.

I have sent ours with just the passport number! They have arrived in Sydney and I am hoping they are in the queue with everyone elses.

We sent ours back at the beginning of August with just passport numbers as we thought we might speed things up....still not heard anything yet.

Beginning to wish we'd waited for the file number having read some threads!

Should be ok.

I wouldn't worry! Hopefully like me you have proof that they were delivered and signed for in Sydney if need be (?).

If you go back through the threads lots of people have frontloaded meds without the file ref.....

We are really annoyed with our doctors as they said they would be "tracked" & they only send them this way.

Since we have looked into it,we have a tracking reference number....only tracks in UK.We are not happy as we would have paid extra to get it tracked to Sydney,they told us this wasn't an option.
