Can I enter Australia on a visit visa while my 457 spouse visa is being processed?
Hello everyone,
I am desperately finding an answer to this question. Any answer is highly appreciated.
I have applied for a 457 subsequent visa (my 4 months baby as well) 3 months back and still there's no response. My little boy misses his father a lot as he left to Australia when our baby was just 1 month old. So I now really feel that he needs to get to know him as his father. For the sake of this reason, I want to go to him at least on a visit visa.
My question is would the government approve a visit visa on such a situation if I provide all the details and information?

What country would you be applying from and what is your/your child's nationality?

I am applying from Sri Lanka and my child's nationality is Sri Lankan. Do you think I should go through an agent or is that fine if I apply through my immiaccount?
At the same time I want to know whether I should submit two applications or is my child my dependant?
