Hi All,

I am working abroad of my home country and recently get my passport renewed from an embassy at my present work location. But they issued me non machine readable passport.

so can I use the non machine readable passport to travel to australia in future.?

I am not aware of any specific Australian requirement for a passport to be machine readable. As long as it is valid and you have the right visa.

Although, that doesn't guarantee you won't have problems, especially if airline staff don't recognise the passport.

yes you can enter if its genuine and not expired..............

i also validated my visa on NMR passport and no body ask me anything.
