Can Experts plse advise re points
Hi
If an application goes in June 26 acknowledged and required a bond for points
will it be assessed under old points or new???
I need bond money if old and don't if new
Help! unsure whether to get bond money through remortgage or not????

What precisely do you mean by 'old points vs new'?

I think that Nikki is a nurse, so I would assume she means the changes in the MODL points from 1st July.

Yes I do mean the MODL points they have gone up fom 10 to 15 without a job offer from July

I think I've already answered it on another thread.
The critical date is the s93 (of the Migration Act) points assessment and whether this takes place before or after 1 July 2004.
If you do get asked for the bond and really don't want to pay it, then I suggest you contact an experienced agent who could contact Adelaide to discuss the exact application of s93 in your case.

I've searched the DIMIA site again! I found this definition:-
Summary: Migration Occupations in Demand List (MODL). This list is called the Migration Occupations in Demand List (MODL). so guess I'll have to wait and see!!!
