We didn't bother ticking the box for this on the advise of our agent. He said it's really not worth it. Must admit I have never heard of anyone even getting an interview from the database.

managed to lose 1lb this week

Calories in calories out... more exercise and less wine I think!!
I've lost just over 3 stone, but seem to be at an impass, where nothing is moving and I don't seem to have the motivation to buckle down and get on with it... maybe when I've telephoned and made the appointment it'll give a metaphorical kick up the bum and I'll be motivated to do get myself slim and fit!
Glad that your medical was good and that there's no problems..... wonder what's happening with New Jersey's referral?

btw, re. weight loss: beer is a vegetable :wink-wink: I am a bit overweight myself, and I am a proponent of healthy eating..

I just lodged my visa on the 16th of Sept 2007 for GSM VE 175 Skilled Independant Offshore (e-visa). I am a nurse and should recieve priority processing.
How long do you think it normally takes to get the visa?
Also when do people recommend getting the medicals done? My online application says I can get them done at any time but they have one year vadility and may need to be repeated, which I dont want to do.

Looks like ours might have been on the same plane!!! Ours left LHR today too!
Just waiting for any other news now - how dare they have a bank holiday on Monday and make me wait 3 more days before I can check again!!!!
