Calling all September 2007 applicants.....

Re: Calling all September 2007 applicants.....
I do so love Nationwide!
We always get the very best exchange rates, because they don't make any money on the transactions.... well nothing blatently obvious anyway.... We have a flex account and a Nationwide credit card, which we ONLY use for holiday spending.. (Tesco's mastercard gets out business here, we collect clubcard points for airmiles... which paid for our car hire on our reckie trip to Aus this year!)
It's never simple is it, getting the most out the money you earn/spend!

Wish we hadn't closed our Nationwide account. I always thought they were the better bank/building society but because Halifax had all our direct debits etc set up I couldn't be bothered to change them all - serves me right for being lazy! But I really don't like Halifax at all, the only reason we stay with them is because OH's mum works there and it is easy if we ever need anything done - again, such laziness!
We are on 175 MODL - Solid Plastering. I think as soon as the english language glitch was cleared up, loads of people applied and that is why there are now what seems to be longer delays. It prob just depends on the efficiency of the officer dealing with it, well I hope it's that and it's not that they don't want me/us in their country!!!! (They don't listen to the rumours do they??????)

Re: Calling all September 2007 applicants.....
managed to lose 1lb this week My own fault though! )
Calories in calories out... more exercise and less wine I think!!
I've lost just over 3 stone, but seem to be at an impass, where nothing is moving and I don't seem to have the motivation to buckle down and get on with it... maybe when I've telephoned and made the appointment it'll give a metaphorical kick up the bum and I'll be motivated to do get myself slim and fit!
Glad that your medical was good and that there's no problems..... wonder what's happening with New Jersey's referral?

Hi Ian
I'm not sure it matters either way to be honest. It shouldn't affect your application. Not sure if you can change it either.
