Called ASPC!!!
Hi All,
well i finally rang the ASPC and spoke to a lady, gave her my reference number, and she said that i have not been assigned a case officer yet!!! my details are on timeline... does anybody know how long it takes from a case officer being assigned to a final outcome!?? many thanks... LondonLife... |
We also applied in April and we have a case officer since about two weeks ago (I also called the ASPC).
A couple a days ago I asked a similar question, "What is the status when you have been assigned a case officer?", but I think nobody really knows how the ASPC really works and how many cases are being assigned to case officer at one time. Maybe agents know something because they deal with different cases? Nina |

e-mail does get answered!
Hi
I did not ring but I did e-mail my case officer asking to confirm receipt of my medicals. I got a reply 3 days later to say yes and that they had been forwarded to H.A.S. .I also found out that my case officer had been changed as well!! and our file has only been in Adelaide since Oct (transferred from London). At least can breathe easy now I know that they got there safely. Sarah J |

Thats useful, we emailed on Sunday night and no reply yet, so I'll give it a few more days yet!
How did you address your email? - PM me if you want to be more discreet! ;) Thanks Mash... LondonLife... You applied 9 months ago and front loaded, at best that gives you 3 months until things start expiring, I'm in the same boat but just 11 months behind you. ( Applied last month and front loaded.) Have you got any idea what you might do or info on this nightmare situation. pickle |

Did you get the PM? Not sure if I did it correctly or not!! SJ |

Thanks Jacksons, I replied....

Is not true that they put the application to the bottom of the queue. Human nature I guess would mean that if you called them often enough and had an argument with them that they would not help it along hugely. But even in such a case the overall affect on the processing time would be minimal.
If they threatened to put you to the bottom of the queue, I think that a fax to the manager there with the case officers name would be very frightening for the case officer. So they would be pretty dumb to say that to you. Cheers Steven O'Neil Perth www.iscah.com |
