Default Business Trip to NZ whilst on Aus 457 ?

This might be a silly question, but my company have asked me to check. I am a British Citizen in Melbourne on a 457 visa, and work want to send me to NZ for a few days to visit our offices there. Do I need an additional visa ?

Cheers, Paul.

Cheers, Paul.

Usually British citizens do not need NZ visas for holidays or short business trips. Your 457 makes no difference.

http://www.immigration.govt.nz (although it's a very badly organised site and finding simple things is not easy).

Exactly the same thing happened to me a few years ago and I didn't.

I believe you will be OK.

I'm sure the NZ High Commission will confirm this.

Good luck
