Hi everybody !!!
I am currently in Australia with a 3 months business ETA Visa. I have a
PR processing since July, and would like to know if it's possible to
renew my ETA or re-apply for one to wait for my PR ??
If anyone knows, thanks for your help.
Cheers,
Hugo

Hugo,
No it isn't possible. You must leave Australia and get another one before
you can return. However, depending on which PR visa you are applying for
you may be able to apply for a Bridging Visa. It depends on whether you
have to be inside or outside Australia when the PR visa is granted.
If you are not sure it would be wise to visit a registered migration agent
and show him your passport and details of you PR visa application to see
what is the best thing to do. It would be very unwise to overstay your ETA.
